Detective Days at Bayou Bend

Mystery is afoot at Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens! Children ages 6 to 12 can unleash their inner sleuths in the gardens or the historic house. Go on self-guided detective hunts to solve seasonal riddles using clues that teach about a diversity of topics, such as trees and plants, art and design, and American history.

Topics are divided into two age groups: 6 to 9 years old, and 10 to 12 years old. These programs are available during any self-guided hours, and no reservations or appointments are necessary. Availability of different hunts is based on seasonal changes in the gardens and accessibility of the house.

Wednesday–Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission
The option of completing a Detective Days activity is included with the purchase of a House and Garden Admission ticket.
