Collectors Studio

The artist’s studio serves as the source of human creativity across diverse visual histories, cultures, and media. That creative origin and capability represent the foundation of the MFAH mission to collect, present, and interpret artwork for all people. Collectors Studio, the Museum’s newest patron group, encapsulates this mission and creates a personal access point where emerging art enthusiasts and collectors experience specially crafted programs to enhance their appreciation for art. Through engagement with the Museum’s vast resources to learn best practices in collecting, this group is the premier Houston destination for connecting with art from around the world across all disciplines.

With exclusive programs and events, supporters receive special access to curators and renowned art-world figures, behind-the-scenes tours of the Museum, visits to Houston’s best art collections, and private travel opportunities. Membership dues support acquisitions, exhibitions, and other initiatives that further the Museum’s mission to exhibit and interpret art for all people.
