Drop-in Tour | The American Gilded Age


May/July 2024
Step back in time to the United States of the late 19th century—a period Mark Twain coined the “Gilded Age.” In the 1880s and 1890s, artistic life flourished with the patronage of business leaders and entrepreneurs. This tour explores the work of “Gilded Age” artists such as Mary Cassatt, John Singer Sargent, and Louis Comfort Tiffany.
