Let’s Make Art! Family-Friendly Stamping Activity June 23, 2020
Let’s start stamping! Using a potato as your “stamp,” assemble different paints and explore sources of inspiration to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
Elizabeth Roath Garcia, our studio and gallery programs manager, developed this DIY activity with inspiration from patterns in nature and from the painting Early Spring—Bluebonnets and Mesquite by American artist Julian Onderdonk.
Follow along with her how-to video below, and use the instructions as a guide. This project is best suited for the family to work on together.
