Katherine Bower is a soferet and fourth generation native Texan. A graduate of the University of North Texas, she studied at the Conservative Yeshiva in Jerusalem in 2014–2015. In 2017, she began studying Safrut under Jen Taylor Friedman. During the summer of 2018, Katherine studied at Yeshivat Hadar in New York City.
